Nights like these are the ones I hope I don’t soon forget! It was nice and cool last night so we went and checked some pastures to decide where to rotate the girls to next and caught the milk girls doing what they do best! Relaxing and grazing! Then we needed to check the seeds that we put in the ground over the weekend! Now we pray for rain to let them grow so we can feed these ladies all winter! The best of farming is sharing it with the ones you love❤️😀🐮

Happy 2026 to everyone!! We are so excited to start the year off with this beautiful heifer! Last year we had 9 bulls and only 2 heifers. Hoping this year brings some more heifers to add to the herd!

We are so grateful for all of our amazing customers! This week we had some delivery issues with the holiday and as usual everyone could not have been kinder to us! Thank you to our wonderful and understanding customers that were patient with us last week as we traveled to Vermont! We were able to get 2 new girls to add to the milking rotation in the spring! We truly appreciate you guys allowing us to do what we love! It was a great trip and we took in some beautiful sights while we traveled! You guys are amazing. Thank you!🐮🐮🍁🍂⛰️⛰️

This little fella made his appearance a day after his due date. We were so glad that the little farmers were paying attention because he presented with only one foot and a snout. They radioed us and told us so we were able to go out and help Mama deliver him safely! We were hoping for a heifer calf but are so grateful for a healthy Mama and baby! We have more calves due before the end of the year and we have had almost exclusively bulls so hoping our luck turns around for the remainder of the year! But for now we will enjoy all the little healthy bull calves we have🐮💙

Oh to have “faith like a child”………
My Farmer boy begged me to walk with him to his sunflower field tonight to “see his sunflowers” All the while I’m walking and thinking there is no way that those sunflowers have come up and wondering if they even will grow since they were simply broadcast on the ground and now sown in. But he was sure of himself and as we got closer to the field his chest puffed out a little more and his smile got a little bigger! And wouldn’t you know it, we got up there and he says, “Look at all my sunflowers coming up, Mommy” He just knew they would be there! It may not be the thickest stand of sunflowers but they sure will be the prettiest I’ve ever seen and he did it all by himself with his own tractor and his own seeder! Farming at its finest! That’s what it’s all about for us❤️🐮
