K&Co farms is closing this chapter and moving on to one that allows us more time with our boys. K&Co farms was a dream and it came true for us. Now let’s go build our forever house!

Rowdy has had a rough go and had to have his incision site and leg cleaned up with a new wrap today. He is in misery constantly trying to bite and lick his leg.

In other news, we got the DNA breed results back yesterday: 50% beagle (which we knew) and 25% pit bull 😯 and 25% Mountain cur. After looking at pictures of mountain cues, I see so many of the breed’s characteristics. Their head shape, their lean body, and the black around their little eyes and mouth. Trigger looks just like a “black mouth” cur! It definitely explains their docile and submissive nature. they adore their people, which is right in line with these 3 breeds. We sure love these boys!

Our poor little Rowdy bones broke his leg Thursday night. Our favorite vet Dr. Bowen at Bowen veterinary services in Sardis got him splinted up until he could be assessed for surgery today. Y’all he is just as pitiful as he looks in the picture. 😔💙

*update: he had surgery to place 3 pins and add “bone” to repair the break. He is doing well, per Dr. Brown. We get to pick him up tomorrow. Say a little prayer for him …and our checkbook 😜

Meet Rowdy and Trigger. These brothers are beagle mix pups and are the sweetest, laziest puppies we have ever seen. More than anything, they are loved. They are learning to ride on the gator and have yet to bother our cows. We love these babies!

I checked on some of our peonie roots Monday and found mold on 5. I was devastated. My first reaction was to pull them all up and count my losses. Instead, I just left them alone. Yesterday, though, i decided to check on the rest, and I'm glad to report all other varieties are healthy and free of mold!

But, Isn't it that way with most things in life? We feel defeated because something doesn't come to fruition or turn out the way we had hoped, in the time frame we had hoped for, so we want to give up. We lose faith.

Yet, God's providence has held true. And always will. The aspirations and desires we hold are God given. God will make a way, God's way.

Be strong, and let your heart be courageous, all you who put your hope in the Lord.
