Uncle Gary's Barbecue ... just had to make the hardest decision regarding the business.

First off, I want to "Thank" those customers who supported the business! But unfortunately... the revenue hasn't been there for the business to survive.

So as of today... Uncle Gary's Barbecue will be closing our doors and selling everything!!

Dinners are only going to be served on Friday and Sunday's moving forward.

We are discussing adding some new sandwiches for lunch.

I do not typically delete comments from people, but if I feel that the comments are a direct attack to the business establishment, and to ward off arguments, I will delete those comments and people. I don't have time to argue with people, or do I like gossip! We are doing everything that we can to lower prices, without going broke as a business.

I cannot please everyone, and even though I lowered prices anywhere from $1 to over $2, that is still not enough to some.

People have to understand that things are not cheap anymore! Everything from food costs and everything within a business and our homes has risen.

You have to keep your prices set at a point where you have a chance to survive! To pay employees, taxes and everything else involved. And on top of all that... to try to take home a paycheck as business owners!

To everyone who asks me about not selling or serving pork products, the shortest answer I can give...is Faith.

Unfortunately...Uncle Gary's Barbecue will be closed today and we will not reopen until tomorrow afternoon after we get our truck.

We need to change up the pricing system and our menu board, but we are also very low on many things. And I don't like telling customers that we are out of the things they are wanting.

So again...we apologize for this, but we are trying to regear and revamp our menu, to be able to accommodate more customers, with cheaper prices and some value packs.

Also...we will still be offering the discounts to military, law enforcement etc, but instead of it being 25%, we are lowering it to 10-15%.

Dinners may be moved to Friday and Sunday only, to help with the cost of our trucks. I am looking at the possibility of putting wing's on the menu, at the request of several customers.

Albion...we apologize but we have sold out of Brisket for today!! We do have Rib's, Chicken, Lamb Shank, and Meatloaf left.

Okay Albion and customer's, I asked and you have responded, the majority of you, have stated too high of prices.

So we are going to sit down and revamp the menu, no more chips with sandwiches, but they will come with fries.

I will have to examine the food costs and see what we can add, and how much I can reduce the prices.

I truly appreciate all of the responses... Good and Bad!!!
