We are pleased to announce the introduction of an Orchard Rite frost fan to our farm, designed to mitigate frost damage to our apple crop. When temperatures drop, the fan activates, circulating warmer air downwards to protect the buds from damage. Although it operates noisily, we anticipate its usage will be limited to a few instances each spring. 🤞🥶

And that’s a wrap, our 2025 harvest has come to an end! And with Thanksgiving just a few weeks away we are reminded of all the things we are thankful for this harvest and holiday season:

🍎healthy and strong family- we are thankful for the support of our family both near and far! Special shout out to our PA family!
🍎our crew- thankful for good, hardworking people who show up and get the job done.
🍎the weather- believe it or not September proved to be an amazing harvest month. We recognize the troubled weather this summer of drought but the harvest season didn’t disappoint.
🍎irrigation. Speaking of drought- what a terrible few months without rain this summer. We are thankful to have irrigation throughout our orchard this year.
🍎neighbors and farmer friends. We are thankful for those folks who help us when they can and we try to give right back. Without the mentorship and helping hands from other farmers our little farm wouldn’t be possible.
🍎the REVO Harvest machine - this machine arrived just in time to help us with our late variety apples. What a game changer!
🍎our customers. We are thankful for all of you who supoort us. Without you all this dream would not be reality.
🍎Each other. Our family works extremely hard each year from winter pruning to fall harvest and everything inbetween. Being a small family farm has its challenges but ultimately makes us a closer and stronger family.

This holiday season please enjoy your families, never take anything for granted and always eat apples from NY! 🍎❤️

Harvest 2025 is underway. We have a large crop this year and we are so very blessed. Today was a slow start but tomorrow we’ll be back at it. 💪🍎 And we have the best crew around; all smiles for most of the day! 😊
