Our Story

We are approaching our 41st year and Jim and I are still sharing our organic gardening story with garden friends in and around Noble County. We are located just north of Chain O’Lakes State Park in Albion. You can find us most days somewhere on the farm planning, prepping, planting or harvesting our gardens. We grow seasonal vegetables, herbs and a few fruits that we wish to share with you. Come on out for a visit to see where the foods on your table comes from.

Microgreen production has been a part of our offerings for the past four months. Currently we offer a baby Romaine salad mix made into a nice sized salad for you to enjoy. We offer a variety of microgreen vegetables as well that could be topped with our vinaigrette dressings. Not sure what microgreens are? Well, microgreens are baby vegetable leaves harvest when they are about 3 inches high. Microgreens contain digestible vitamins, minerals and phytonutrients that provide nutritional health benefits. They are packed with flavor, color, texture and contain 4-40 times the nutrients of mature leaves. Microgreens can be enjoyed by themselves, in salads, smoothies, on sandwiches or mixed in anything else you can think

Did you know we have fresh artisan breads? Normally you can find 9-grain, peasant, cinnamon raisin, cinnamon swirl and rye.

We’ve added a large supply of Young Living essential oils as well. Don’t let the cold wintery weather slow you down. Build up your immune system with essential oils. Enjoy the benefits of these oils. We will teach you how to use them and what the benefits are. A large selection is available.
