Hollyhocks! They are so beautiful and help add whimsy to my flower beds. They make me feel like I just might live in an English cottage in the countryside. Of course, hollyhocks are also called outhouse flowers since peope used to plant them around their outdoor privies. So maybe I shouldn't romanticize them too much. 😅

We took our basket out for the first harvest of the season! We pulled out some lovely French breakfast radishes, chamomile flowers to dry for tea, and garlic scapes for sautéing and maybe pickling! Yum!
