What a BEAUTIFUL day to stop by the stand ☀️🌿

April & August Market is stocked and open with fresh eggs, rhubarb, soaps, rose petals, handmade cotton scrubbies, and more!

There’s just something special about sunny days, green grass, and a little roadside farm stand stocked by hand. 💛

Some days I look around this little stand and can hardly believe how much of it is built with the help of my kids ❤️

Oliver is quickly approaching teenager-hood and there truly isn’t a day that goes by that he doesn’t help me in some way. Carrying baskets, feeding animals, harvesting produce, stocking the stand, helping his younger siblings, building things, cleaning things — whatever needs to be done, he’s usually right there beside me.

The days can feel long sometimes, especially during the busy seasons… but the years really are short.

One minute they’re little enough to ride along in the wagon, and the next they’re out in the garden helping harvest rhubarb like they’ve been doing it forever.

I know someday I’ll miss these afternoons together more than I can put into words. So for now, I’m soaking up every muddy boot print, every long conversation while we work, and every “Mom, what else needs to be done?”

I’m really proud of the young man he’s becoming 🌿

Fresh rhubarb is back on the stand! 🌿

The boys helped harvest today’s bundles — complete with tractor deliveries straight from the garden to the market 🧺🚜

We have fresh bundles available now for $3 each, displayed in one of my favorite vintage Pyrex dishes to keep them crisp and fresh.

Rhubarb is perfect for:

After a quiet Mother’s Day weekend spent soaking up time with family ,the stand is finally restocked and FULL again 🤍🥚

The weekend may have been slower online, but it was full of all the reasons this little stand means so much to us in the first place—family, fresh air, messy kids, and simple moments together 🤍

Today we got to bring a little bit of the farm to first grade 🐓🦆🤍

My youngest and I visited my daughter’s class with a few chickens and a duck to teach the kids a little about poultry, waterfowl, eggs, and farm life.

The kids were so sweet and curious, and our feathered friends were spoiled with attention… and watermelon, of course 🍉

Such a special way to share what we love with our community.

We’re EGGspecting!

We’ve got 11 eggs in our incubator with an expected hatch date of June 1st. Right now all the eggs show signs of development, but that can change at any time.

We’re so excited for this little adventure, and will post pictures of our sweet baby DUCKS as soon as we can!
