WHAT IS PERMACULTURE? THE PRINCIPLES

In the second part of 'What is Permaculture', Maddy Harland explains the 12 permaculture design principles and applies them to a variety of scenarios, not just land-based examples.

'The 12 permaculture design principles are thinking tools, that when used together, allow us to creatively re-design our environment and our behaviour in a world of less energy and resources. These principles are seen as universal, although the methods used to express them will vary greatly according to the place and situation. They can be applied to our personal, economic, social and political reorganisation and the ethical foundation of permaculture guides the use of these design tools, ensuring that they are used in appropriate ways.'

We started a you tube channel and will be adding videos from time to time to share the spaces we are creating at the retreat. We welcome anyone who would like to work with us to contact me. We are looking to hire or trade for photo shoots. The space will be available for private use during the off season for small groups looking to hold ceremonies, photo shoots ect.
