Hey folks,
We’ve got big things on the horizon and we’re asking for y’all to help us make it happen!!
In July, Barkadas ABQ, Howdy Cakes, and Prickly Foods are coming together to make “La Carinderia” a space showcasing Immigrant, Native, & Indigenous foods by creating a unique hub of ready to eat hot foods, pastries, and dry goods to bring both home grown and far away flavors to New Mexico. We’ll be located inside the National Hispanic Cultural Center 1701 4th St, and we’ve got some work to do to make the space feel like home.
This coming month we’re doing a series of fundraising events including an on-going goodies box sale with treats from all of us, a pay-what-you wish release party for Prickly Foods new canned Dééh: Navajo Tea with Prickly Pear evening Sat 6/20, and sit-down 5-course Filipino tasing menu by Barkadas ABQ with music and performances both over at NM Community Capitals Resilience Hub (119 3rd St SW)
So get your tickets and help our new space grow!

Liz, Cindy, and Will
