If you haven't had losses with livestock yet, you haven't had them long enough. When I really think about it, it's usually my fault even though I haven't had losses in years. First I intervened on a first time doe in labor and I ruined everything by not letting her go through labor longer on some huge kids, I scrambled everything up by getting anxious and helping too soon. Lost the kids and barely saved the doe. If I literally had just stepped back for another hour or so before I helped it would prob have been a better outcome. Also my fault I fed that Doe way too much by herself. Then a nice doe kid died getting stuck in a slippery home made tub feeder that I've used for years, but I realized I always had hay in it before so a kid would get footing to get up if sleeping in there. I'm disgusted with myself. Oh well. Press on 🤔PS, I got that damn fu***ng feeder out of that corral.
