I'm saying this out of frustration because I wanna shout out home businesses, I wanna make y'all feel good with good reviews, I don't like doing bad ones, that's why I'm not saying names. I have so much love for the small business.

I’ve been trying to support local at-home bakers and candy sellers, hoping to find something really good, but the experience has been disappointing. I’ve dealt with poor communication, rude attitudes, and long delays. One order took over eight hours when it was supposed to be delivered.

It’s frustrating because several of these are well-known sellers, and the service just doesn’t match the hype. I don’t even want to leave reviews because I’m not looking for drama…

At this point, it honestly makes me disheartened to keep supporting local if this is the standard… because I've been through 4/5 different people and it's all the same… I'm so unamused by the way people are acting about local businesses I haven't made any reviews because I'm just annoyed, the service people put out here sucks really badly.. I've said this before in a rant, people have no hustle, no drive… the 1 time I had a great experience was with the beef jerky I already did a review on.

If this makes people mad 🤷‍♀️..

They have so many unique hot dog options I can see why they won. Its pretty good imo. But I didnt see who they were battling against.

Urban Hotdog Company has officially been named the best hot dog spot in America after winning the nationwide “The64” competition, a bracket-style tournament featuring 64 restaurants from across the country.

The local restaurant secured the top spot after a series of public voting rounds, ultimately defeating Michigan’s Yesterdog in the final matchup. Voting closed on April 12, 2026.

I absolutely LOVE the Southwest Chocolate and Coffee Fest!!

I absolutely love the Southwest Chocolate and Coffee Fest. Some of my favorite vendors were there, and I liked how many unique options they had like Wisconsin cheese curds, beef jerky, CBD products, soaps, hot chocolate, superfood drinks, ice cream, pastries, and a lot more. The free samples are definitely a highlight.

My only issue was with the dips. I liked them, but seeing people stick their hands in the bowls to dip their own snacks threw me off. I still tried them, but afterward I kept thinking about how some people might not be as clean with the dipping or might double dip on accident🥲😩.

This is probably my favorite foodie fest as a coffee and Chocolate lover, I wanna do more eventually but this was a 5/5 stars yet again. This is always hosted so well and so organized for such a large event.

We went back to Sunday Bagels and got the bacon bagel and the jam on it was amazing. Still a 5/5 stars for us.

On the cutting board today, Sunday Bagels on Central 5/5 stars

Sunday Bagels on Central makes some seriously unique and incredible bagels. The green chile bagel was flavorful and not something you come across often.

We had a mix-up with our order and got egg and butter instead of egg and bacon, so we were definitely bummed we didn’t get to try the bacon. The butter was a little too overwhelming on its own, but I’m sure the bacon would’ve balanced it out perfectly.

All the bagels we tried were so soft and full of flavor, I forgot to order the London Fog so im gonna have to go back and try it, that is such a unique and cool flavor to put on a bagel, this is probably going to be our new breakfast spot!
The cream cheese was very creamy and soft, loved the texture and flavor, we did the original white cream cheese, sometimes cream cheese has like a really overpowering flavor, but this one was just really light and let the bagel have that moment to shine its flavor.

Favorites so far is the blueberry maple & Rosemary, I think the blueberry had some kinda salt on it but I couldnt tell so don’t quite me on that one, it was like a sweet salty crunch, it was made perfect.

Loved the store too, very beautiful and clean. Totally worth it!

Tried that new “Big Arch” product burger.
I can taste the bun, and that's about it… I can't even figure out what it's supposed to taste like because it just tastes like air with a hint of onion… my partner said they really like it because it has a more cooked flavor like a real burger, which I kinda get. Still, it's like a really low-quality cooked burger lol. Idk what do you think of it? It looks nice.. but McDonald's has never been my go-to place to eat.
And yes I know this isn't a local place.. sometimes I just want fast food. Sue me.

I only block people who are insanely annoying or freak out over my posts. Like… seriously, go touch some grass, it’s not that deep. Just breathe in, breathe out, breathe in, breathe out.
