The ABQ Review

Finally had the opportunity to eat at M’tucci’s Bar Roma on Central. 4.8 out of 5 stars.

I hate that there is never parking in the Nob Hill area, but besides that, the only issue we had was that the hostess seemed upset that we showed up 10 minutes early. I usually arrive early as a courtesy because I don’t like people waiting on us to arrive and no I dont demand seating as we arrive, we just show up as a hey we are here and okay with waiting because I think that’s rude to be late, but maybe she was stressed or something happened, so I’m not going to knock the rating down because of it.

The waitress was so nice and sweet.
The Famiglia Board was a solid 5/5 charcuterie board. I loved all the pairings, especially the Parmesan and Gouda. Not so much a fan of Brie, but cheese is cheese. 😍 The salami, prosciutto, jam, Caprese salad, everything was top tier.

We had an amazing dinner.
Quattro Formaggi pizza is probably my #1 favorite pizza of all time, and I was delighted to see they had it here. The artisan dough was absolutely worth paying extra for. It had a really nice crispy, sourdough and I highly recommend it.

We also finished with what I’m pretty sure was a Wagyu Bolognese pasta, but I literally forgot to write the name down😂, so enjoy this beautiful picture of the pasta instead.
It was super good and very well cooked!

Overall, this was a great dinner with amazing food and wonderful service. 🫰🏼parking killed the .2 points. Lol 🤷🏼‍♀️

My favorite pizza is the White Lemon at Gimani’s. The lemon juice on the pizza is top tier lol, with the ricotta omg.😭😭😭 which one is your favorite? ?

What's your opinion? Should they add a green chile burger to the menu? IMO, they should NOT do that. Love to hear your views.

In-N-Out hasn’t even opened its first Albuquerque spot yet, but the iconic burger chain is already planning location #3. ⬇️ Story link in comments

4/5 Stars⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We went to Hibachi One and, for how busy it was, it was actually really good.

The presentation was fun, the chef put on a great show, and the food was well cooked.
I got the chicken and noodles, and both were good with classic hibachi charred flavor. Nothing super out of the ordinary or fancy.

I wonder if I could of had half and half rice and noodles that would have been fire. 🤔
( I didnt ask I was shy🥺)
The portions were large enough to take leftovers home.

My only complaint is that it was very crowded, and we were seated pretty tightly with another family. If the restaurant had more space, it would be more comfortable
Its very very very loud so this kinda thing wouldnt be suitable for people who are sound sensitive.

Other than that, I have no complaints. Good food, fun atmosphere, and a great basic hibachi experience overall.

What is the “Abq Review”? We are a collective of people who go around eating food and giving honest opinions about it and our experiences.
Bad reviews are the end NOT of the world, the internet has made it almost taboo to get one, this is supposed to be honest, sometimes constructive, businesses are supposed to learn and grow from bad reviews. Not all taste buds are the same so I encourage YOU to try it. It's easy to attack me for an opinion or attack a business.. (which is strange why would you bandwagon something you’ve never tried?)

Good reviews should be highlighted with gold stars because a place that really gives it its all should be celebrated.

Too many people getting paid to review or clique with one another in this town to create little groups to influence people when they are giving that place kitchen blindness.
Wouldn’t you wanna be proud of your dishes and restaurant based on actual merit?
This is a side account so I may or may not post.

I tried it so you don't have to… “Japanese
fruit sando” at the downtown growers market. 1/5 stars… cheap white bread, tasted like Cool Whip and mango. Low-key grossed me out..idk, the bread and Cool Whip flavor did not go well together and it was a texture thing, maybe a high quality bread… or a good whipped cream… you can make it at home for cheaper. Sorry to disappoint..

I'm saying this out of frustration because I wanna shout out home businesses, I wanna make y'all feel good with good reviews, I don't like doing bad ones, that's why I'm not saying names. I have so much love for the small business.

I’ve been trying to support local at-home bakers and candy sellers, hoping to find something really good, but the experience has been disappointing. I’ve dealt with poor communication, rude attitudes, and long delays. One order took over eight hours when it was supposed to be delivered.

It’s frustrating because several of these are well-known sellers, and the service just doesn’t match the hype. I don’t even want to leave reviews because I’m not looking for drama…

At this point, it honestly makes me disheartened to keep supporting local if this is the standard… because I've been through 4/5 different people and it's all the same… I'm so unamused by the way people are acting about local businesses I haven't made any reviews because I'm just annoyed, the service people put out here sucks really badly.. I've said this before in a rant, people have no hustle, no drive… the 1 time I had a great experience was with the beef jerky I already did a review on.

If this makes people mad 🤷‍♀️..
