What a wild week it has been at the Alcester Golf Course. On 7/6/26 Wayne Overhulser, Jr tied the course record at the time shooting a 31 that "was" held by Emmett Manning! I should also mention Emmett made history making the first Hole in One on #7 (The new par 3) just a couple weeks ago.
Fast forward to today 7/9/26, we would like to congratulate Liam Moumy for stamping his name into Alcester Golf Course history shooting a 30, and setting the new course record at 5 under.
Congratulations to all of you for your accomplishments on the course!!

From Sunlight to Starlight, what an incredible day on the course!

The Golf Course Beautification Committee would like to extend a heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who participated in our 1st Annual Sunlight to Starlight Classic yesterday. With 17 teams joining us, the day was filled with great golf, plenty of laughs, friendly competition, and an unforgettable glow ball finish under the stars.

A special thank you to the staff at the Alcester Golf Course and Clubhouse Grille for all of your hard work. From preparing the course to taking care of golfers throughout the day and evening, your efforts helped make this event a success.

Thank you as well to our volunteers and everyone who helped make the tournament possible. We appreciate everyone who pitched in to create a fun experience for our golfers.

Most importantly, thank you to the 17 teams that spent their day and evening with us. Seeing the course full of golfers having fun from the first tee shot in the sunlight to the final putts under the starlight made all the hard work worthwhile.

Feel free to share any photos you took yesterday! We hope you had as much fun as we did, and we look forward to seeing everyone back next year!
