It has been brought to our attention that this person, Clark Pat, has falsely posted that he is a member of the Alderpoint Volunteer Fire Dept. He is not nor has he ever been a member of our FD. I have messaged him to remove this false information from his page and I have reported him to FB. We want to thank everyone who gave us a heads up about this issue. We hold our members to very high standards and his actions would not be tolerated within our department. We hope everyone has a great day.

John was an integral part of Kiwanis of the Redwoods, serving as a member for decades, many of those years as the club's president. He, Fran, and their family have supported various community service projects, and John was one of the founding members of the Alderpoint Volunteer Fire Department.

In honor of John, the APVFD will be hosting the horseshoe tournament at the Egg Hunt & Spring Fling event at the Southern Humboldt Community Park on April 8th from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. All proceeds will be donated to the APVFD in honor of John.

Participants can sign up at the event prior to the start of the tournament at 12:30 p.m. For more information, contact the APVFD at [email protected].

WOW!! What an great turnout for the Roger Coleman Memorial Scholarship fundraiser. We couldn't do this without everyone's support and boy was that support awesome!! Everyone had a great time, we all got to visit, eat, shop, play co****le and just hangout. We want to give a special huge thank you to Frances Earp, she put a ton of time into purchasing and putting together all the baskets, getting donations and pulling the whole thing together. Thank you to everyone that helped setup Friday night, worked tirelessly all day Saturday and helped clean up that night, we could not have done it without you. We also want to thank the following for donations: The Bootleg, Sylvandales, John & Frances Earp, Bonnie Coleman, Amanda Coleman, Stacy Coleman, Sandra Kercher, Dorothy Aubrey, Porter Farms, and Garrett Porter. I know Roger was looking down on us with a big smile, so happy that our hard work will be helping several of our local youth in the future. ❤❤

Today we say goodby to one of our founding members. Roger had the biggest heart and would do anything for anyone. He loved his family and friends with his whole heart, and will be missed forever💔💔 Services today at 1 pm at the Alderpount Voluneer Fire Department.
