MEA Haven Farm is a hunter/jumper show barn that provides lessons, boarding, and training. MEA Haven Farm competes in A-Rated shows across the mid-atlantic region as well as many VHSA Associate and USHJA recognized local shows. With over 25 horses in training, MEA Haven provides a great atmosphere for both the competitive and pleasure rider, while never compromising the importance of basic horsema

nship. MEA Haven caters to the rider/owner that demands the best care for their horse but who also wants a fun and friendly atmosphere, both at the barn and shows. The highly trained and well- organized staff ensures that the horses are ready for a long and healthy show season.

Good rides from Keira on MaryLou Glover’s “Outfoxed” in the Pony Pleasure and Maiden Eq. Special thanks to Beverly for stepping in the irons for the Miller family on “Piedmont’s Uptown Girl” in the Pony Pleasure. These girls braved the heat!

Dorin and “Demarco CR” had strong trips on a rainy Saturday, including a win in the VHSA/M&S Adult Eq over fences and second on the flat. Strong rides in the Adults, too.

Leo showed Juleanna Glover’s “Rantanplan” and “Centrist” on Sunday in the Children’s Hunter and VHSA/M&S Children’s Eq. He was a star - winning the Eq, and Reserve Champion and Reserve Grand Champion Children’s Hunter, and, Best Child Rider on a Horse - well done Leo!

Finally, “Piedmont’s Uptown Girl” rounded out the weekend in Leadline. With Emma in the youngers and Charlotte in the olders - way to ride with your heels down girls! Excellent ribbons all around.

The apartment is an easy 14-mile drive (approximately 23 minutes) from the showgrounds.
