River chase is a family friendly boarding facility that also offers lessons for riders of all ages and levels. We train horses and riders in hunters, jumpers, and eventing. Other offerings are Camps, Pony Parties, Wine and Cheese Trail rides, Shows, cross country schooling, and other off site trips. Happy Veteran’s Day to all who’ve served this great nation - YOU are the reason we continue to enjoy our freedoms and liberties. Praying this Veteran’s Day that we as a nation stop taking those blessings that were paid for so dearly for granted. Hi all, Kelly Fulton, the Chiropractor is coming out to look at my horse, Titan, on 1/15/19 at 11:30. Let her know if you want to schedule something that day. You’ll need to be present for the appointment in person.
I have such fond memories of this lovely farm. Back in the mid/late 1970s I galloped race horses there, first for Norman Haley, then Beverly McGregor. Norman had installed a track in the big field beside the big stone dairy barn. He also put stalls in that barn. We had our horses in the smaller barn - there were only two back then, and E Carter had his in the large dairy barn. It's surprising to see the track is now long gone... but the new layout for shows and boarding is really nice! It was Courtland farms forever - Bert Allen was owner when we were there. So glad to see this fabulous place so lovingly tended and enjoyed! Long live Courtland farms -er, I mean River Chase! :D
Horses and Hokies!! Check out the Conrad Cavalry pic from the homecoming parade. My daughter is the Commander of Conrad Cavalry this year and we board our two mares at River Chase. Great experience for cadets and ambassadors for the Corps!
