Plan to attend the May 7 Board of Supervisor meeting at 6pm at the Govenrment Center, where supervisors will discuss and vote on a proposal to conduct a study to determine if horses can "safely" ride trails at Banshee Reeks.

Today we got the grim news that Max likely has cancer. The staff at River Chase are asking our farm family to help raise money to help Max's owner Rosemary pay for his care.

Max is one of our best school horses...he has taught the young and old how to be a better rider. Lesson horses are a rare breed! They show up every day with unlimited patience to support so many different riders.

As Max has taken care of so many of us, let's show him the same care
