Picture probably 12 years ago…Easton was the apple of his papaw’s eye… Scripture I Peter 5:10 was part of the sermon preached by Jordan last night. This scripture was quite fitting (isn’t it always when God gives the message through the man of God)…Sometimes we don’t know why we go through trials and tribulations but rest assured God does. Since walking down this road and time of great loss in my life my eyes are opened to a lot more understanding of the importants of one’s soul being ready. I’ll admit it wasn’t as real to me as it is now. I wouldn’t trade my walk with God for anything this world has to offer. I’m thankful that Jim felt the same way.❤️…much love

Through it all…I have learned to depend upon His (the Lord’s) word…Jim would always say he would never tell someone he knew how they felt if he had never walked in their shoes. I know there are people who have walked in my shoes but it doesn’t lesson the pain. God’s grace is sufficient… much love

Brother Jordan stepping in when the pastor can’t. Thankful for all those that are holding our pastor/husband’s arms up when he is weak. It’s been a rough week or so but believing God for His healing power. Along life’s journey, the winds may come and the storms may rage but one thing for sure is God remains the same. I have a better understanding of “we walk by faith not by site”… we are visual people. Things we see with our eyes may be trying to tell us one thing BUT faith is telling me something different!!!!! Much love….

Thankful for my family! Couldn’t imagine going through this without their prayers and encouragement. Jim said the other day “I couldn’t imagine my wife not being in church with me!” God has spoken so many good things to us during this time. I Peter 1:6-7 KJV was God’s message to us last night. Such encouraging words…much love
