You may look at this picture and see a simple breakfast…when I look at this picture I see two handpicked organic pasture raised eggs from our spoiled backyard chickens, jalapeños that I started as seeds in my basement back in spring and have kept alive to this day, a slice of sourdough bread that took about 12 hours to bulk ferment because the kitchen was cold. So while you may see a simple breakfast, I see the fruit of hours, days, even months of hard work and that makes this a very special breakfast.
