Visions In Stone Farm
In 2012, while camping with my family at Pleasant Lake in Topsfield, I discovered a remarkable rock along the shoreline. This stone was unlike any other I had seen. One side sh
owed a complete horse running, every detail intact, while the other side revealed a clear silhouette of a horse head. It became a special treasure for me, reminding me of my childhood spent searching for stones on the beaches of Robbinston. My mother often called me "Rock Hound" because of my passion for collecting unique rocks. Recently, I experienced the profound loss of my beloved dog, Holly. She had an undeniable love for rocks, carrying them around, creating little piles in our yard, and joyfully begging us to throw them for her to chase. As I worked on building our new barn, we unearthed several large rocks from the ground. One particularly large rock caught my attention. I imagined it as a headstone for Holly, and as I looked closer, I couldn't help but see a perfect silhouette of a dog's head carved into its surface. Tears filled my eyes as I remembered her playful spirit. With our little farm taking shape, I was tasked with giving it a name. I had only a week to submit the necessary paperwork for the business, and I felt the weight of that responsibility. As I reflected on my memories and the significance of the stone I found, I realized that the name had to embody both the beauty of nature and the heartfelt connections I cherished. I am proud to announce that the name of our farm will be VISIONS IN STONE FARM. This name not only honors the remarkable rock that sparked this journey but also serves as a tribute to Holly and the many memories we created together. Our farm will be a place of inspiration, creativity, and love, where every stone tells a story and every moment is cherished. Owner: Kelli Moholland Toole
