New in the case: we’ve got lamb kofta kebabs made from fresh-ground lamb leg!
Kofta are a Middle Eastern/Mediterranean kind of spiced meatballs, normally made with beef or lamb. These ones feature red onion, parsley, cumin, sumac, and allspice, and have been fashioned into kebabs - perfect on the grill or under the broiler! Get ‘em while they last!!
New Years is when all the stars come out - take these star-powered American Wagyu NY strips, for instance! These will be available until Friday (or until they sell out)!
A word about our New Years hours: we will be open for our usual hours until Friday the 30th. We will be closed on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. Then back to business on Tuesday, January 3rd!
All of our special orders have been picked up and we are setting our stockings by the chimney with care. We’ll be open for one more hour today, and then CLOSED through Dec. 24 to Dec. 26!
Do NOT come the shop during that time unless you’d like a visit from Krampus. Don’t be naughty. 👹

One thing we DO have are these gorgeous Berkshire axe-handle pork chops from local farm Green Hill! If you’re looking to be a big pig, we gotcha covered 😉
We’re getting into the final leg of pick-up time - approximately 5 billion humans will be picking up their turkeys on Tuesday, so if you have a whole turkey to pick up: we recommend that you come in TODAY from 12-5 or TOMORROW (yes, Monday!) from 11-6 instead!
If you are getting your bird spatchcocked or picking up anything other than a whole turkey, please stay your course and pick up on the day you scheduled for in advance! We’ve got those all locked in. No extra charge for getting your turkey heartily slapped, as shown above!

We have a frightfully fun array of spooky sausages haunting the case this week! Nemo’s favorite is Uzumaki - a pork sausage with miso paste, pickled plums, and Japanese togarashi seasoning, inspired by the hair-curling horror manga by Junji Ito where a whole town is plagued by a curse of spirals (swipe right to see his main character, Kirie). However, these 1 LB spirals of sausage are just mesmerizingly delicious!
Rainy weather like this calls for good, hearty meals - like meatballs & pasta! These Sicilian-style meatballs made with pork, Parmesan, sherry-soaked currants, and pine nuts will play beautifully with your favorite red sauce, so come down to the shop and get some before they’re gone! 🍝

We just received a delivery of yak, kangaroo, elk, and wild boar meat courtesy of - we now have ground wild boar, ground yak, and ground kangaroo, as well as elk and kangaroo medallions!
Thank you all for your patience waiting for these products; it’s been tough to source exotic meat since the pandemic began and we’re glad to bring it back. And for those of you who’ve never tried kangaroo before… time to get hopping so you don’t miss out! 🦘
