As we begin this new chapter at our Alexandria location, we're already checking off the boxes that come with opening and transitioning a business, and this is one of them.
Per the Fire Marshal's instructions, we have to press pause on all fried items, including our hot box favorites and cracklins, until we receive our fire inspection certificate. We expect the process to take a few weeks, and we appreciate your patience while we get everything completed the right way.
The good news is we'll still have our regular boudin, smoked boudin, fresh meats, specialty sausages, and everything else you've come to expect from us. We just can't fry anything until the inspection is complete.
Thank you for sticking with us as we work through the challenges that come with opening a new location. We can't wait to get those fryers fired back up and have your favorite hot items ready again soon!
