Our Story
Cooking has been my passion since I was a little girl. Since I can remember, I had the opportunity to help my great-grandma cook. I was just 5 when she took the risk of letting me cook a “biftec”, then celebrated how well I had done it. While my childhood friends took dancing, music, and art classes; I took cooking classes. I simply love it!
I have been able to develop the skill of cooking traditional Puerto Rican food. I apply this skill in providing all year round pasteles and other Puerto Rican delicacies . Including, pasteles de masa y de yuca, pastelillos, sorullos, perniles, arroz con gandules, coquito, and other goodies “just ask”.
I have established PR Pasteles y Algo Mas based on the belief that our customers' needs are of the utmost importance. I am committed to meeting those needs. As a result, a high percentage of our business is from repeat customers and referrals. I prefer to refuse an order, than accept it and without being able to comply.
