Things are getting busy around the prairie!

This week rams will be semen tested and final spring breeding decisions made. The barn will get cleaned out and show sheep prioritized in the barn. Finally, all the sheep will be shorn Friday! We encourage you to schedule a visit to our farm and view a select group of futurity nominated ewe lambs we have available.

Barn will be open for viewing on April 19th!

It was a beautiful 50 degree day in January so we took advantage of “desensitizing” the fall born rams with a halter and showmanship lesson. Clyde thought the cat needed to be worked on too☺️!

In South Dakota, when December decides to be balmy, the barn gets a deep clean! Everyone lends a hand, with Penny directing the chaos, Clyde fueling the crew, and Henry handling the heavy machinery. With everything torn apart, it's the perfect time to give those lights a good scrub. And, of course, Clyde was having the time of his life, operating that skid loader!
