Happy FriYAY, y’all! We made it!

The week was long and the coffee was absolutely necessary. But we’re HERE. 🙌

Now the important question. What’s the first thing you’re doing when the workweek officially ends?

Some women get flowers or diamonds. I get a 1940s Ford 8N tractor from Marketplace. 😂

Don’t get me wrong, this is something I’ve always wanted, and I can't wait to fix it up. It may seem like a little thing now, but I’m excited to see how God uses it in the bigger picture.❤️

Anyone have a classic tractor? I'd love to see a Pic!

Y'all, God sure does write some beautiful stories on this little farm!

I came home to this little miracle waiting for us in the pasture.
This is Ketchup’s baby.

If you were following us about a year ago, you may remember us going to look at some cows who ended up being extremely poor. We ended up bringing Ketchup home, skin and bones, barely hanging on and truly on death’s door. We didn’t know what the future held for her, but we knew she deserved a chance. So we gave her what she needed which was some good grass, minerals, and time. And fairly quickly, she came back.

Her body filled out. Her strength returned. And today, she gave us something we never could have imagined when we first brought her home. A beautiful, healthy bull calf.

And as if the story wasn’t already sweet enough, this little one was born with a perfect little heart on his head!

Ketchup was given a second chance, and we never expected anything in return. We just wanted to give her a soft place to land. But here she is, blessing us with this beautiful calf.

Welcome to the farm, sweet baby. You were worth the wait. 😍

It’s truly the little things. Like when one of your (many) summer projects is finally finished, and it turns out better than you imagined. Check out the before picture in the comments and you'll understand our excitement. 😂

Not going to lie, but frustrations got a little high when help (hired) didn't show up, but we pushed through, did a lot on our own and God placed the right people in our path to help finish a larger paddock.

Every piece of old mangled fence is slowly but surely being replaced around here. One section at a time, we’re making it better for the animals we’ve worked so hard to build it around. 🤎

He doesn’t get paid, doesn’t do the chores, but somehow he’s still in charge. 😂

Another beautiful sunset mixed with some storm clouds to end our first week back to school. 🥰
As tired as this week has left us, I can’t help but look around and feel grateful.
I truly believe God has so many things in store for this little farm, and we’re just getting started.
Here’s to making it through week one, and ending it with a little piece of heaven right here at home.
