🐖 Years ago, we took a leap and started selling our beef directly to local families. What started as a small idea has grown into relationships, conversations, and the opportunity to feed families in our community.

This fall, we’re taking another leap.

We’re excited to share that Lakeshore Land & Livestock is now raising pigs and will be offering locally raised pork beginning in October!

Just like our beef, our pork will be raised right here on our farm with the same care, commitment, and values that guide everything we do.

To start, we’ll be offering pork by the half or whole hog. If we have any available beyond our pre-orders, we’ll also stock our retail freezer with individual cuts.

As farmers, there’s nothing more rewarding than knowing the food we raise ends up around your family’s dinner table. We’re grateful for the support you’ve shown our family and our farm, and we’re excited to offer another delicious option for your freezer.

Who loves a good pork chop, bacon, or pulled pork sandwich? 🙋‍♀️🐷

What a weekend at the Wisconsin Farm Bureau Federation’s Annual Meeting. Every year leaves me grateful, but this one hit a little deeper.

Three years ago I was on the Discussion Meet stage as a finalist… this year I was on the other side judging the finals. Wild how life circles back and gives you a new view of the same room.

And then there’s Eric, who officially graduated from the Leadership Institute. Watching him push himself, grow, and step way outside his comfort zone made me ridiculously proud. That program isn’t easy, but he showed up and did the work.

The boys came with us to the conference too. Not just for the waterpark this time. Actual conference sessions. Actual conversations. Actual learning. McCoy even told us he likes listening to conversations and learning from others.
My heart basically melted right there.

And honestly, one of the biggest blessings of this whole trip was being reminded that Farm Bureau is where we’ve found our people. The kind of friends who turn into family. The kind of family who trusts us with the honor of being Godparents to sweet Titus. Being able to spend time with them, even though we live clear across the state from each other, filled a part of my soul I didn’t realize needed topping off.

Moments like these remind me this work isn’t just about agriculture or advocacy. It’s about community, curiosity, and raising kids who see the value in both.
