First potato dig of the year 🥔

Not ready to start selling any yet, but they’re coming along good. Fresh potatoes and onions straight out of the Oklahoma dirt this evening.

Our “fat cattle” decided to go exploring the other day.

Big thanks to our neighbor, Windy Washburn Eckert, for saddling up and helping us gather everybody back in. That’s ranch life in Oklahoma.

And after a day like that, a Wagyu steak supper sure hits the spot. 🥩

Around here, we believe good beef starts long before it reaches the grill.

From ground beef and sirloins to ribeyes, roasts, and brisket — our Wagyu is born and raised right here on the Copenhaver Ranch in Oklahoma.

We’ve stayed busy around the ranch lately, but the freezer is stocked and grilling season is here.

Some meals don’t need anything fancy.

Just good beef… cooked right.

We kept it simple tonight—
Sand Plum Wagyu hamburger steaks, seared in a cast iron skillet and finished in a homemade onion gravy.

Served up with mashed potatoes and a side of corn.

That’s the kind of meal that reminds you why quality beef matters.

Started these watermelon and cantaloupe plants in the greenhouse… and got them in the ground this morning.

If all goes well, in about 80–100 days we should be cutting into some fresh, homegrown melons right here on the ranch.

There’s a lot that has to go right between now and then—but this is where it starts.

We’ll keep you posted as they grow. 🌱🍉
