We’re proud to share our latest **Member-Owner Snapshot**: **40+ community members** have stepped forward to become member-owners, contributing **$7,067.15 in Member-Owner Equity** toward building a community-owned grocery store in Aliquippa. 🙌🏾

But these numbers represent more than dollars and membership cards. They represent **community commitment, shared ownership, and belief in what’s possible when we build together.**

Our mission is simple: **make food more accessible, support local small businesses, and create jobs.** Our vision is bigger—to create a **community hub** where Aliquippa residents and our surrounding communities can come together to build a healthier environment and a stronger community.

What ends up in our shopping carts is influenced by more than price. Affordability, availability, convenience, culture, and household needs all play a role in the food choices we make.

That’s where the Aliquippa Food Coop can make a difference. As a community-owned grocery store, we have an opportunity to listen to residents and help create a food selection that reflects the needs, preferences, and budgets of the community we serve.

Our goal is simple: increase access, expand choices, support local producers and businesses, and make healthy food more accessible to Aliquippa families.
