We are a small farm that believes animals deserve a good life even when being raised for meat. Our pigs are cared for daily by myself Jon, my Wife Jordan, and our two daughters Kennedy and Khloe. We started our farm in 2018 with two Kune pigs in a small 10x10 pen. We learned quickly that we wanted to give our pigs a different way of being raised, other then the traditional pen. So we did some majo
r improvements in the following couple of years. Now our pigs get to enjoy a radio playing all day while in their completely enclosed barn with access to a small pasture to graze on. We are currently working on expanding to a very large wooded area for them to be able to graze. Our goal is for our pigs diet to be largely forged natural food while grazing. We do use a meal sourced from a local farmers co-op currently to supplement their grazing. We have future goals of adding sheep to our farm as well We are a new farm with lots of growth potential. We look forward to where this farming journey will take us. Our pigs stay on the farm from the day we get them till butcher day. We do not load them up and bring them to a shop to butchered. We believe the least amount of stress on the pig produces the highest quality meat. How our Pricing works:
Non Refundable Deposit- $100 for a whole pig and $50 for a half pig. This deposit pays for the purchase of the piglet. This cost is paid to us. Price Per hanging pound - $2, this cost is paid to us. Kill Fee - $90 for a whole pig and $45 for a half pig. This is the cost of the mobile butcher to come to our farm. Custom Butchering - Your meat will be taken to Blue Star Meats in Holland Mi. The cost to get your meat custom cut varies. Please see the cut sheet to find out current pricing and cut selection. This cost will be paid directly to the butcher when you pick up your meat.
