is going to be on the tasting table this week, for three different styles. The Japanese Classic Ale is barrel-matured in cedar casks, balanced at 7% abv. The White Ale is a refreshing take on a witbier, not as hazy as many but quite flavorful, 5.5% abv. The Red Rice Ale has fruity and floral notes similar to a sake, 7% abv.

Colchagua is one of the major wine regions in Chile. A mineral-rich, well irrigated terroir produces some of the most complex, full-bodied Cabernet Sauvignons in South America. Cromas, a Cab from Los Vascos, is a faithful and representative example of everything Chilean vintners do excellently.

Lima is a coastal, mountainous region of Portugal that is amazingly suited to the Vinho Verde. Granite-rich soils and a coastal water table produce crisp, punchy whites that can be enjoyed with chicken for lunch, or fish for dinner. Loureiro exemplifies this well.
