Jan 2024 ram looking for his own girlfriends. Purebred commercial Katahdin.

He was taken to the marion co 4H fair and the Backyard Homestead Expo in Salem.

He is gentle and ready to do his job.

I setup up at the Backyard Homestead Expo in Salem IL today. Come out and enjoy some homesteading classes and learn about Katahdin hair sheep plus other vendors. Free classes free entrance great weather.

Bottle lambs available purebred katahdin 4 ewes and 2 rams. 3-5 weeks old. Started on grass hay and pellets. 2 bottles a day.

Bottle lambs are available! I have rams and ewes. All are fully intact. Not even tagged at this time. These are purebred katahdin hair sheep. No shearing no tail docking amd ram stay fully intact. These are great for meat production. They do well on pasture and browse.

We are located north of Salem IL.

Do you miss having animals on your farming have a few acres that is just growing up and you would like to keep it down but don't wamt or can do the work any more? I might have a soultion.

I am looking for a few places to move my sheep thru to rotational graze. I will build a temporary fence and set up water if needed. Sheep are very gentle and stay together in a flock quite well so if you want to walk to a pond or such you still easily can.

Ideally I would like to stay around alma patoka Kinmundy and north of Salem areas so I can check on the easily and be able to get there quick if a problem were to arise.
