Last week was a heck of a dang week! First, we find out that the water pump and timing chain is going out on hubby's Ta**us and it had already been leaking antifreeze for a few weeks. Do yourself a favor and never get an Ecoboost engine. ð These repairs cost $5k and up. It's an older car with a lot of miles and not worth a lot so we decided it would be best to just sell it but dang, we could hardly give it away with all the issues it had. I ended up selling it to Carvana. We didn't get a lot but it was better than nothing. And then I had to find a vehicle for myself because I gave my Charger to my husband for his work commute. I absolutely loved my Charger, she was my baby, and it made me very sad to let her go. I figured since I wasn't the one who chose a stupid Ford and that I had given him my baby then I was the one who got the new car this time, lol. (If you drive a Ford I don't mean it personally ðĪŠ). So I found this diamond of a car a couple of hours from us. She is a 2010 Dodge Challenger srt8 with just under 41k miles and one owner. Her previous owner was an older gentleman and he obviously loved this car because she looks brand new. The price was good so we drove the 2 hours to test drive her but on the way hubby hit a deer. ð By that time I was about to have a nervous breakdown after also being attacked by my cat the day before I was just about done with everything. ð But the damage to the Charger was cosmetic and didn't affect the engine so we made it to the dealership to see the Challenger. She was just as nice in person but had a couple of minor mechanical issues. So the dealership actually being all above board decided it would be best to change all 16 spark plugs just in case but they couldn't get it done that day so we had to come back home. But we went back yesterday and she was purring like a kitten so we bought her and she's all mine. ð I swear hitting that deer traumatized me though because I was a nervous wreck the whole 2 hour drive home because they way our luck has been going I was terrified of hitting another deer. But we got home safely and I love her. ðĨ° She is actually my dream car just a little older. I have wanted a S**t Pack for several years and she's close. She has a 6.1 liter Hemi engine but also a cat delete, tune, and cold air intake so it bumps the horsepower up to about 450. ð So after the hell of last week at least I got this beautiful car out of all of it. ð And now you all know that I am a muscle car girlie and Mopar lover. ð
