Arusha had 2 does and a buck late last Saturday night. Both does are AVAILABLE.

The buck is the first one pictured, and boy is he flashy! He’s a silver buck with red and black spots. If I were keeping him, I’d call him Blizzard! 😂

The next 2 pictured are does. Although not as colorful as their brother, one has lots of moonspots.

Their dam, Arusha, is a 3 year old third freshener who excels at putting milk in the pail. With a high, strongly attached udder and good teat placement, she peaked at 13 lbs of milk per day last year and persisted at 6 lbs of milk even after she was 2 months pregnant.

Their sire is a moonspotted buck with excellent milk production on both sides, and show champions on his sire’s side. These are his first kids and I’m very happy with them so far!

Needless to say, these kids have a lot of potential!

What a great start to March, and the kidding season: 3 does and a buck! Alulah had twin doe kids this morning, and Sadali had a doe and a buck tonight. The buck is a beautiful blue roan with a white belt, and all the girls are colorful too! I’ll post individual pictures later.

2026 Breeding Plans

Newborn does and breeding buck kids will be $275 each. You may reserve a kid for a $100 non-refundable deposit, unless the breeding fails to produce the desired gender. NO HOLDS for colors. Kids MUST be picked up before 5 days of age unless prior arrangements have been made. There is a $5 per day fee for kids not picked up before 5 days of age. All kids will be CDT vaccinated, disbudded, and tattooed before leaving the farm. They will leave with registration papers but you will have to register kids yourself. I reserve the right to retain any kids for replacements.

Wethers will be $45-50 each if picked up before 5 days of age. They will be CDT vaccinated, disbudded, castrated, and tattooed before leaving the farm. NO HOLDS for colors. There is a $5 per day fee for kids not picked up before 5 days of age. Wether deposit is $20 each.

Did you know I have farm-fresh chicken and duck eggs as well? It’s hard to beat the flavor of farm-fresh eggs!

Chicken eggs are $3 per dozen. They are various colors (some white, some light brown, some dark brown, and the occasional green). Size varies but most eggs are extra large with the occasional double yolk. The chickens have constant outside access in a safe run, with a varied diet.

Regular duck eggs are $4 per dozen. All eggs are white, and are extra large to jumbo. The ducks free-range and their eggs are absolutely delicious. No muddy-tasting duck eggs here, and they are amazing to bake with!

I also have some HUGE duck eggs (so large they won’t fit in a regular egg carton) for $5 per dozen plus $1 carton deposit due to special cartons.

All eggs are unwashed for maximum freshness but should be washed before use. Eggs can be washed beforehand if preferred. None of the eggs are graded.

I have DUCK HATCHING eggs available as well for $12 per dozen. Duck hatching eggs are a barnyard mix.

UPDATE: all are SOLD.

Neerah had triplets April 13th: 2 bucks (the first two pictured) and a doe! Neerah is very colorful and finally added some color to the mostly-brown 2025 kid crop.

Neerah is a three year old doe with a capacious but well-attached udder with good teat placement. As a 2 year old she peaked at over 11 lbs of milk per day, and I think she’ll peak higher this year. She’s a super friendly doe who loves to greet everyone!

This concludes the 2025 kidding season, as all other kids born are currently retained.

UPDATE: the first one pictured is SOLD.

Ceridwen broke the “buck streak” with 4 doe kids! The second one pictured is AVAILABLE for $375, while the other two are currently retained. Ceridwen is one of my heavy milkers, consistently peaking at 12 lbs of milk per day as a two and three year old. She’s at over 8 lbs of milk per day at 3 DIM so she may peak higher this year. She also has fantastic genetics, especially on her sire’s side.
