Witches Night Out Weather update!🌙

Everything is still happening tomorrow night as planned with just a few location changes. We know you witches are brave, but the rain, cold, and wind are too wicked for our music to be outside.

4- 8 pm: Shops open late. Perfect for cozying up and catching what’s new!

4:30- 8pm: Scavenger hunt. Check in is at the rotating vendor shed at the Water St. Commons. Completed hunts get turned in there too. You can walk it, drive it or fly it on a broom. 🧹

Pop-up bar at the Commons is also in the rotating vendor shed starting at 4:30 pm.

5-8 pm: Charlie Madison INSIDE at
HopSide Brewery (location change)

8-11 pm: DJ Cliff at PIFC***r for the after party (location change)
Best Dressed Witch judging at 8:30 pm

We want to say THANK YOU to our volunteers and to Mariah who helped paint our curb bump-outs and crosswalks on 1st and 2nd Ave over the last few weeks! 🎨 It's not an easy task to paint on the busiest streets downtown, but this crew was committed to making it safer downtown for all users.

This is part of a trial project to see if these changes enhance safety for those walking and biking downtown, while alerting drivers they are entering areas where people frequently walk and bike.

If you walk or bike downtown, we want to hear from you not only about these changes, but about your experiences throughout the downtown. Take our public survey below!

Over the weekend, Mariah from Lovely Little Lettering Co. was downtown bringing a new project to life, painting curbs and crosswalk areas along some of our busier pedestrian walkways.

The goal? Help draw attention to these areas, encourage drivers to slow down, and make getting around downtown a little safer (and a lot more fun to look at!). This project is part of a greater initiative the DDA is leading to improve safety for all users downtown, especially those walking and biking.

A huge thank you to Mariah for sharing her talent with downtown, to our DDA team and Department of Public Works for all the prep work that helped make this project possible. 💛

The The Social Vine is the new restaurant and bar that will be opening where Black Sheep Pub used to be. Give them a follow to stay updated with their progress! Opening early 2027.
