Meet Carmella ❤️🐔

This isn’t just a chicken rolling around in the dirt, she’s taking a dust bath! This is one of the most important natural behaviors chickens have.

Dust bathing helps chickens:
- Keep their feathers clean
- Absorb excess oil
- Discourage external parasites like mites and lice
- Relax, socialize and stay comfortable

Our hens are free to scratch, forage, explore, and dust bathe whenever they choose. Watching them express these natural behaviors is one of the many reasons we love raising them this way.

❤️ Hi everyone! Due to an unforeseen family event, we’ll be taking a short pause, and the roadside stand will be reopened on Monday, July 20th.

Thank you so much for all the support from familiar faces and new friends over the past few weeks. We look forward to seeing you again when we’re back!
