Good morning everyone, I have been having difficulty with the fb page for about a year now and it’s finally cough up with me I am no longer able to access it besides through the business app. So I am unable to answer messages and things. First I want to assure everyone that Alpena General Store is not closing.

It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the conclusion of our partnership with Thunder Baykery at the end of September. Over the past few years, our collaboration has been filled with energy, dedication, and shared passion, a journey marked by both joyful milestones and the hard work behind the scenes.

While we’re saddened to see this chapter close for Thunder Baykery, we deeply understand and respect the challenges that have led to this decision. We extend our warmest wishes to James and his family as they move forward, and we remain grateful for the time, talent, and spirit they brought to our shared efforts.

We are excited to announce that we are welcoming a new partnership in our store with Tastes of Thailand. Maybe you have already heard of them from local events in town this year. Most recently they were at the Art at the Bay and they will be in Harrisville this weekend! This sweet couple make authentic Thailand foods, we will be carrying 3 different spring rolls, Crab Rangoon and their homemade sweet chili sauce!
Don’t wait run 🏃‍♂️ these are so delicious!

A fresh shipment of Big O' Smokehouse smoked salmon and white fish dip just arrived! We have had a remarkable request for their products again. So upon request we will keep them in stock through the holidays. Let me know if you would like to see more of their products.
