2025 was a year of growth, thankfulness and by far was the busiest year yet.

Started the year off in San Antonio, TX with followed by another successful calving season. We continued serving our quality beef and pork to our customers directly off of the farm-thank you to everyone who has purchased beef from us! From frosts to frost, you can find Whit, and Johnathan in the hay field. What a busy, busy hay season this was. We appreciate all the long days, late nights, and weekends everyone put into this crop!

We are so thankful for the birth of our daughter in June. She has fit right in to this crazy life we are living and when we thought our hands were already full God grew our hearts! 🥰

Amongst all the busy farm life, one of our dreams finally came true (along with alotttttt of work and stress…and babies).
We are H•O•M•E

God has carried us through the good times, the hard times and everything in between this past year and we know he will continue to direct us and our farm this year as well!

We have been not as active on social media this past year because quite frankly, we have been that busy and haven’t had much time to direct our attention to such. However, we do want to share with our followers that we appreciate your love and support as we focus on raising our farm and family! 🤍

Excited to see how the Lord works within our farm and all those that are a part of it this year!

Meat Boxes - End of Summer 🔥

With summer season coming to an end does not mean you have to put up the grill! 🥩

👉🏼These specials will run from now until the end of August! 📆

❗️As you noticed, we do not have any ground beef at this time but don’t worry-we will be restocked soon! For right now, this is our current inventory!

We also have limited quantities of the following:
•soup bones
•pork fat
•oxtail
•pork ribs
•picnic ham
•sliced round

Did you know that minerals are an important part of a cow’s diet but most forages are deficient in these minerals?

These minerals are important for their health and production and are supplemented into their daily diet. There are different methods of supplementing cattle with these minerals but we use the mineral block method where the cattle can get what they need and not waste.

Also, spotted is our new gator awarded by and from OYFF competition! We are still so very grateful for this award and it has been put to use (hint all the mud 😄)

10 years ago, Whit and I had a lot of hopes and dreams. That is exactly what it seemed…hopes and dreams! We wanted to start our own farm. We wanted to farm full time and not have to find an off the farm job. But those hopes and dreams seemed so far away they just about didn’t exist.

BUT GOD!

We worked, we dug, we sacrificed, and we PRAYED! We tried not to listen to other tell us we couldn’t make it because in our hearts we felt like we could. God provided the way! He allowed us to take that leap of faith and we are sure glad we listened.

We still work just as hard, probably harder, now than we did but we are still striving and still leaning on our God to help carry us through.

This honor is such a true testament that with God ALL things are possible to those that love him!

We sincerely thank for believing in Young Farmers and we can’t thank enough for this incredible award! Truly, it is such an honor that we will rejoice to the Lord with and continue to strive to be good stewards of the land and our animals!

As mentioned in this award, there are two men that we have to give a lot of credit to. Whit’s granddad was a cattleman at heart and instilled that in him at a young age. My dad, who saw us start and came to help us along the way. He taught me what it truly means to love agriculture. It’s not a job, it’s a way of life!

Thank you to all of our family and friends for all the love, support, and help! We wouldn’t be here without you! Thank you, for being right beside us the past 5 years and growing alongside us! You have helped make this transition possible!

What a remarkable honor for our family and farm to be recognized by Congressman Mike D. Rogers! It is such a privilege and honor that we don’t take lightly! Thank you, Congressman Roger, for taking time out of your day to visit with our family! We appreciate all of your work you do for Alabama farmers and families!

I was happy to present the Lovelady family with this submission into the Congressional Record recognizing them for being named Alabama’s best young farm family! The future of agriculture in Alabama is in good hands!
