Some horses are special from the very beginning… and Flo is one of them. ❤️

SHR Sotally Tober has been turning heads in training with Kaity Sotomayor as they prepare for some exciting shows ahead. From powerful slides and beautiful extended trots to working the real cow boxing, Flo is looking better than ever and showing just how talented and versatile she truly is.

What makes her story even more special is that Kaity and I were both there the day she was born. We watched her grow up, and Kaity has done every step of her training journey. Seeing them together today is a testament to years of dedication, consistency, and trust.

A second-generation SHR-bred mare by SHR QTs DiamondCutter, Flo has proven herself time and time again across multiple disciplines. Over the years she has earned titles and wins with Kaity, Matt Sotomayor, and myself, demonstrating not only her athletic ability but also her incredible willingness and versatility.

Whether she’s in the reining, ranch classes, working cattle, or stepping into a new arena, Flo always rises to the occasion. We’re incredibly proud of the horse she has become and excited to see what this talented mare accomplishes next.

SHR Cookie Cutter – Ayra (SHR QTs DiamondCutter x Olenas Color Me) Is a spectacular 2021 Homozygous Tobiano mare sired by SHR QTs DiamondCutter and out of Olenas Color Me LTE $5k+ and PE $75k+ who is sired by Two Million Dollar Sire, Color Me Smart and out of Olenas Dually LTE $100K+ and PE in excess of $700k+!!! ​ We started to show Arya and had an absolute blast earning cowhorse money and a year end reserve championship in cowhorse, but when she was born we dreamed of breeding her to Gunnatrashya. Due to his age and his stud fee increasing, Arya took a brief break to have the most spectacular filly by Gunnatrashya!

Arya and Kaity are on fire and will be back in the show pen soon!!!!!!!!

Years ago, we welcomed a special filly into the world—a daughter of our beloved mare, SHR Twist N Shout. A filly who looked so much like her mother that sometimes you had to look twice.
Today, we’re excited to officially welcome SHR Twist N Shine back to Secret Hills Ranch.

Watching these two ride side-by-side is a reminder of everything we love about our breeding program—the mares who started it all, the next generation carrying on their legacy, and the moments that make all the years worthwhile.
Welcome home, Mariposa, lovingly nicknamed Mari by Scarlett. ❤️

Years ago, we welcomed a special filly into the world—a daughter of our beloved mare, SHR Twist N Shout. A filly who looked so much like her mother that sometimes you had to look twice.

Today, we’re excited to officially welcome SHR Twist N Shine back to Secret Hills Ranch.
