Leaping Lamb Farm We are a small family farm in the Coastal Range of Oregon. We raise free-range lamb and chickens. A washer and dryer are also provided in the cabin for your use.

Our farm vacation promises a retreat from the stresses of city life! Enjoy the privacy of our self-contained farm stay cottage, including:

Two bedrooms with queen-sized beds
A full bath
Complete kitchen and eating area
Large, airy living room with a double-futon couch
Multi-level deck with views overlooking orchards and pastures

Wall heaters, a propane stove, and Pendleton blankets will keep you

warm in the winter; ceiling fans, large windows, a shaded deck, and the year-round Honey Grove Creek will keep you cool in the summer. Our farm stay cottage offers a do-it-yourself breakfast, with cereals, fruits, bread, juice, coffee, teas, waffles and anything else you can think to whip up from the provisions in the cupboard and fridge. You are more than welcome to buy eggs and other produce from us, as available, to add to your meals. Alsea's Mercantile has additional food supplies, as do several seasonal road stands in the area. The kitchen is fully equipped with appliances, utensils, and basic condiments.

Enjoy a tour of our cozy cottage!🐑💐

Surrounded by trees and a view of the ram yard, the cottage is 720 square feet with two bedrooms and a full bathroom. Perfect for small families, couples and friends traveling together!

You’ll be prepared for the summer heat or a winter freeze with the mini split A/C and heater. A washer and dryer are also provided in the cabin for your convenience.

Goats were freed to take down the blackberries at the creek. They have chosen the orchard to start. Major fencing to keep them off our baby apple trees. And, yes, kids are in the market for new homes…where they can keep blackberries and noxious weeds at bay, but will also sit in your lap.

Early morning hike in the woods behind our back field. Stopped to marvel at the huge trees and the quiet…broken by the mad chittering of a squirrel I had apparently disturbed.

When we get summer cancellations for our farm stay, they are harder to re-book and here we are this summer with some big-block cancellations.

The Cottage is now available 7/12-17 and 8/2-6. The Farm House is available 7/13-15 and 7/17-24. If you book and then call the farm or email me with a mention of this post I will honor 2024 pricing and discount the difference.

It’s peaceful and quiet out here and the mulberry tree is loaded, the goat kids ready to play, and the sheep lazy on the fields.
