Good news!! I told you I was crazy enough to try, and it worked! The majority of the u-pick flowers survived the frost! There are still TONS of blooms for you to come and pick. We are open 8AM-8PM Fri-Sun through October, maybe longer! Follow our page to keep up with updates! If you've been wanting to come pick your own flowers at the farm, 💥TODAY is the day💥! They are predicting colder temps over a longer period tonight. Now I will try to save them for you...I'm pretty good, but I'm not sure I'm that good 😅. Open today(OCT 16) 8AM to 8PM. If you wanted to come this weekend, ⚠️please⚠️ check our page for an update in the morning!! I will try to post as early as I can on whether the flowers survive the frost. If you come out in the afternoon/evening I'll be putting the frost cloth on but I'll pull it back so you can cut flowers ☺️

If you haven't heard, it's gonna be cold this weekend! That means the summer flowers in our fall u-pick are going to be in 🥶danger🥶. But luckily I'm just crazy enough to have planned for this exact scenario. I have some tricks up my sleeve to try and protect them from the frost and keep our u-pick open for another few weeks!

My vision for the fall u-pick was being able to enjoy the beauty of the flint hills and pick summer flowers without the heat and humidity of our summers. Is it even possible to have one evening by the fire, and the next day outside picking flowers? We are about to find out if I can pull it off!!🔥🌸

That being said...there's only so much I can do to protect them from the weather. So if you do plan on coming to pick flowers this coming weekend (Oct.16-18) or future weekends, please check our page for updates 💥BEFORE💥 you head this way!

🐾🌸Cosmo..in the cosmos🌸🐾

Finding a name for a boy dog related to flowers was a task 😅. Thanks to our toddler, Cosmo is affectionately known as 'Mo' a lot of the time. He's a good boy most of the time, when he's not trying to convince the ducks that their necks make the best chew toys 🙄 🦆 We do love this big furry goofball 🐾🐶💜
