Graystone Stables in Altamont, NY is hiring! We are losing our weekend and Monday barn help due to college and are looking for a new part-time/long term person.

We are looking for a person to cover our Saturday, Sunday and Monday hours from 7am to 4pm. More days/hours could be available to the right person. Duties include stall cleaning, horse turn out, feeding/watering, and other daily barn chores / farm maintenance. You MUST have your own reliable transportation and a cell phone. You must have experience working with large horses and be able to lift up to 50 pounds. You must be comfortable leading, holding and working around horses. Knowing how to operate farm equipment is a necessity and we are willing to teach.( Basic hydrostatic farm tractor and a UTV.) We are looking for a motivated individual to join our team long term. Our horses are mostly well mannered and have a wonderful client base. Please PM resume with previous work history and references. We will be checking references. Looking to have a person lined up by the middle of August. Pay is based on experience.
