Wunsapana Farm Artisan Lockspun Yarn UPDATE: I no longer sell yarn, honestly, I couldn’t keep up with the demand. I hand-spin the locks of fiber animals.

*****My farm page is Wunsapana Farm - Llamas! In addition to using my llamas' fiber, I carefully choose and purchase raw fleeces from other farmers, mostly mohair, Teeswater, and Wensleydale. Lock structure, luster, and length of locks is very important to me. Prepping the fleeces includes washing, dyeing, drying, and separating the locks,

and takes a lot of time (the llamas I shear myself and do the same). I share the yarns here as they are available.

I call my yarn 'lockspun', rather than 'art yarn' because it has a consistent weight like regular yarn. By creating a consistent yarn, I am able to incorporate my lockspun right into patterns. Hello Yarn Friends! I'm sorry I haven't been posting yarns - I sure have been spinning! I've had a waiting list that I've been taking care of and have found that I confuse people if I post yarns (they think they are available). Welcome to all the new people that have liked my yarn page! I just got home from four days at a llama show and stepped into 50 degree weather. YAYA - Spinning Weather!!!
