I have had the pleasure and privilege to call you neighbors and friends. I am off to new adventures in Italy and elsewhere. I would love to see your faces before I go, and for you to officially meet the new owners of Remedies Wine and Spirits. I am thrilled that the magical shop Troy and I created is going into such caring hands. Please stop by on Saturday if you can.

Meet Claire and Steve Weigel, the future owners of Remedies Wines & Spirits.

Claire (Neumann) moved to Altamont from New Jersey in third grade, while Steve—now a proud member of the community—made the move from Rochester 18 years ago. Today, they call Voorheesville home, where they live with their two children, two dogs, and Kevin the hamster.

Both Claire and Steve share a deep appreciation for small businesses. Claire built her career as a CPA working closely with small companies, and together they founded a successful solar installation business in 2017.

They are incredibly excited to carry on the legacy of Remedies Wines & Spirits, following in Diana’s footsteps, and are grateful for the opportunity to be part of such a special community. They look forward to meeting neighbors—old and new—and continuing the story of this beloved local business.
