“Patience is a virtue. Not right now it isn’t.”

I think of that every time I plant something new.

These are my new rose bushes — 24 planted so far, with six more on the way.

The planning happens quickly.
The planting takes time.
The growing takes even longer.

Hard to imagine it full now, but that’s the plan.

Things have been pretty quiet here lately, but the new season is starting to pick up.

Peonies will be the first flowers to bloom this year, while everything else is still growing slowly. For now, it’s mostly about tending seedlings, making plans, and waiting.

I’m looking forward to sharing more as things start to bloom again 🌿
