Robert, who is originally, from Upstate New York and his wife, Gretchen, an Illinois resident, operate the farm together with their son, Cooper. Our name, Schaf Tal is German meaning “sheep valley". Robert and Gretchen both work in the medical field but have extensive experience in agriculture and livestock. We here at Schaf Tal Farms & Meats consult with Robert's father, John, who holds an Agricu

ltural degree from Cornell University. Schaf Tal Farms and Meats is comprised of 2 companies. Schaf Tal Farms raises and sells live animals to other farms for breeding or butchering purposes. Schaf Tal Meats distributes processed animals for consumption to restaurants and directly to you locally and nationally. We also have our very own line of dry rubs and spices. Schaf Tal Farms & Meats is a family business and as such, we know that feeding your family healthier foods is important to you. We offer only the highest quality lamb, raised in the most natural way possible, which is the healthiest form for you, our customers.
