It has been almost exactly one year since Sweet Acre Farms Winery (SAF) was destroyed in a fire, but now, the owners plan to begin manufacturing wine once again. The winery was originally based in Alto. Following the fire, the business temporarily paused making new inventory, but kept its tasting

An update on our Helen tasting room- we will be temporarily closing on January 1st for restructuring. Cheers to what the New Year brings! 🥂

Beginning January 1st, our Helen tasting room will be temporarily closed for restructuring as we prepare for our next chapter. We can’t wait to welcome you back soon with a refreshed space and exciting updates to come.

Do you love wine, people, and creating memorable experiences? We’re looking for enthusiastic, hardworking, wine-loving individuals to join our team!

Ideal candidates:
• Have wine knowledge and tasting room experience
• Are 21+ years old with reliable transportation
• Can lift and carry a case of wine safely to chest height
• Are able to obtain a pouring permit from the City of Flowery Branch

What you’ll do:
• Pour wine samples and glasses for guests
• Educate customers about our wines and story
• Answer questions and process transactions
• Restock shelves and maintain a tidy workspace
• Help create a fun, relaxed, and welcoming atmosphere for every guest
• Perform other tasks as needed

Matt and Lindsey are finally back behind the bar! We have a new venture in Flowery Branch, The Branch Social. We’re being supported by our friends at Yonah Mountain Vineyards for this tasting room until we get our operation up and going again. This is an awesome place in downtown featuring Georgia wines and your favorite wine slushies. We have a sneak peak happening tomorrow at the Gilmore Girls event, but we will be opening soon with regular hours! Head on over and “follow” our page for updates!

Big news — we’re coming to Cornelia!
We’ve officially acquired a beautiful historic brick building right next to the new amphitheater. It’s going to take some love and hard work to bring it back to life, but we’re excited for the challenge. Follow along as we transform this space and create something special for the community. We can’t wait to welcome our friends and customers back soon!

Clean up is officially underway. It is still surreal. Heartbreaking to see, but we will be glad to have it cleaned up and no longer have the constant reminder of the devastation.

Our Helen tasting room is open 11-7 Saturday and Sunday 12:30-6. Stay safe tonight and be sure you’re stocked up on the necessities!

🍒Lake Russell Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon- a robust red with notes of black cherry and a slightly spicy finish.

🍇 Vintner’s Red- The Winemaker at Yonah Mountain blended a selection of red grape varietals to make this an approachable easy drinking wine. Light bodied with notes of dark chocolate, cherry and toasted oak.
