Many of you have asked what’s next for Sweet Acre Farms Winery, so we wanted to share a quick update.

Since the fire in January 2025, we’ve been focused on rebuilding—not just buildings, but a vision for the future. While the road has looked different than we expected, our commitment to wine, hospitality, and community has never changed.

Today, you’ll find us at The Branch Social in downtown Flowery Branch, where we’ve created a welcoming space to gather, explore wine, and stay connected. We’re also excited to be preparing for the reopening of our Helen location as The Pour Haus, bringing a fresh experience to one of our favorite mountain towns.

And for those wondering about Sweet Acre itself: yes, we’re still working toward that dream.

Behind the scenes, we’re exploring opportunities in Cornelia that could one day allow us to bring back Sweet Acre wines and create a new home for the winery. There are still many steps ahead, but the vision is very much alive.

The farm may be gone, but Sweet Acre was always more than a place. It was the people, the gatherings, the stories shared over a glass of wine, and the community that grew around it. That spirit continues to guide everything we’re building today.

Thank you for your patience, encouragement, and support through this journey. We are incredibly grateful, and we’re excited for what lies ahead.

Here’s an update on the latest. ❤️

It has been almost exactly one year since Sweet Acre Farms Winery (SAF) was destroyed in a fire, but now, the owners plan to begin manufacturing wine once again. The winery was originally based in Alto. Following the fire, the business temporarily paused making new inventory, but kept its tasting

An update on our Helen tasting room- we will be temporarily closing on January 1st for restructuring. Cheers to what the New Year brings! 🥂
