It all started with the phone call at 7:00 in the morning from our local post office..."It looks like you have some chicks here to pick up!" How exciting! Now 75 meat chickens seems like a huge step for my first year in chicken raising, but it has turned into a much-loved and enjoyed hobby: Now a small coop meant for about 2 dozen chickens houses approximately 40 hens, roosters, bantams and a cons
