Valken Farms It's all about the farm. We strive to raise our animals, vegetables, and fruit ethically and respectfully, with organic standards and heritage views.

Nestled in the beautiful Ozarks, Valken Farms resides on 120 acres of pristine pastures and oak forests. Our farm was part of the much larger D.J. Lance family farm, which was established around 1846. Grover Lance, son of D.J. Lance, was granted this section of land for his own family around 1890’s. He set out and built the farm house and barn around 1900 while raising a family and working the com

bined family farmlands. This added to the charm and desire for this particular farm, but wasn’t realized until after a story about a plank in the barn caught our attention. The ultimate goal is to fully restore the farm house and barn to the original 1900 design. Several other surrounding “Lance Farm” owners express the same desires to restore the original structures once occupied by the Lance family of farms. History is a wonderful thing and we wish to preserve the farm for generations to come.
