This beer is a liquid time machine. It’s nostalgia in a glass. Where we’re going, we don’t need roads.

Journey back with us to a different time: before hazy IPA. Before lactose-laden fruited sours. Before standing in line for a beer release was a thing. When dry hopping was something of a rarity, and the growler was king!

Back when nearly every craft brewery produced a copper-hued ale featuring rich malt balanced with aromatic, classic American hops. Straight from the salad days of craft beer, it tastes like the late nineties. It’s what your cool uncle drank.

This evening our friends Dolce, Ragazzi Wood Fired Pizza will be slingin' some 'za to pair with our beers on the patio, and this time the weather is going to cooperate.

When I Am King - Baltic Porter - 7.0%

Devotees of dark, strong lager rejoice!

Our Baltic Porter returns to the draft lineup today. Luscious, velvet-like malt is the star of this particular show with an intensely bready, nutty base supporting layers of subtle cocoa eventually giving way to a semi-dry, clean finish.

Brewed with Golden Promise and a touch of Caramunich, and hopped judiciously with a blend of Chinook, Centennial, and Amarillo. This beautifully balanced ale is brimming with bright citrus and stone fruit notes.
