Whitewater Gardens Farm We purchased our farm, which consisted of 120 acres in the Whitewater Wildlife Management Area, in 1991. We are working on winter production.

We grow 6-10 acres of vegetables along with season extension for the Farmer's Markets, and wholesale. You can visit our farm anytime by appointment. We will have product available in limited amounts for you so call before you come.

Come see us at the Winona Farmers Market back at the levee tomorrow from 1:30-12. We have tomato, pepper, herb and native plants to take home. There will also be great lettuce mix, kohlrabi, chard and mustard mix. Looks like it should be a great day and if you can't make it come see us on the farm Sunday from 11-3 for our annual plant sale. Remember if you are coming from the east the bridge is closed between Elbe and Altura. You can come on hwy 14 or take the Cristal Springs road to get to cty 39.

Come see us at the Rochester Farmers Markets plant sale Saturday 9-12 at Crawford Hall in the fairgrounds. We will have a selection of native plants, tomatoes, peppers, and herbs. Spring is here and the controlled burns are filling the air with smoke so the prairies can wake up with new flowers and grasses.
