Kris bought this chicken tractor this spring. It’s taken a while to get used to. We have lost a few chickens as we have moved it due to it being so long. The chickens are looking pretty good! Ready for processing soon. They have been drinking two containers of water per day, eating bugs, grass, and organic feed.

🍀Aiden is on his way to Greece for a 4-H trip. He will be learning how they use technology in agriculture, attending a culinary school, touring the Acropolis, sailing to Hydra, Poros, and Aegina Islands, visiting the Baker Master and CITRUS companies and so much more.🍀

🍀4-H is more than animals. It covers so many more topics and life skills relevant to today’s economy and lives. One of the best parts, the trip is free!🍀

We had lamb chops from Midway Ranch this morning! They are so tender, juicy, and yummy. We highly recommend!!

We’ve been talking, reading and watching how people used to grow fruits and veggies long ago. We decided to try planting flowers in the middle of our raised beds to draw pollinators and hope they will kill the “bad” bugs. So far everything seems to be going well.

I went a little overboard on planting flower seed in the first bed. So on the second bed I planted very few seed. I like the bed with more flowers!
