This precious little angel was born just a few days ago alongside his sister, and they’ve both been doing well. With these freezing temperatures, the cold has been especially hard on such tiny, brand-new babies. Last night, Mike went into the barn and found this little boy on his side, not moving. He scooped him up, brought him inside, and held him close on his chest under a warm blanket.

By the time I got there, Mike thought he had already passed, but then I noticed the faintest movement from his little nostrils. We warmed him, gently rubbed his tiny chest, and got a bit of honey into him. Slowly, ever so slowly, he responded. He spent the entire night sleeping on Mike’s chest and finally took about an ounce of milk.

He’s gaining strength, and we are holding onto hope that he’ll be up and about soon. Please keep this little one in your prayers.🙏🏻♥️

♥️🐾 Meet Cassie, a young, gentle Border Collie mix who survived more than any dog should. She was found running loose off Cockrell Hill after several dogs in the area had already been hit by cars. With police help, TexasACR stepped in to get her to safety. Sadly, we also learned she had been hit with a bat before. 💔

Cassie’s leg was too damaged to save, so it was amputated, and she amazed us with how quickly she bounced back. She gets around great as a tripod, is house trained, rides calmly in the car, loves to play, and is sweet with people and other dogs.

She is safe, thriving, and ready for a home that will love her the way she deserved all along. 🐾♥️

I am outraged and disgusted that anyone, let alone someone claiming to be a rancher, would kill and skin a six-month-old Livestock Guardian Dog. This is beyond inhumane, it is ignorance and cruelty at its worst. If you work with these dogs, educate yourselves! There is no quick fix when it comes to working breeds. Each dog is an individual, and there is NOT a one-size-fits-all solution.

Uninformed decisions, old wives’ tales, and reckless practices are destroying these ancient and noble breeds. Livestock Guardian Dogs are not just tools, they are living beings with instincts honed over centuries to protect and serve. They deserve respect and understanding.

My heart breaks for that innocent six-month-old puppy. This must stop. If you don’t have the patience or willingness to learn, you have no business working with these dogs.

♥️🐾Meet Grace, the absolute doll baby!🐾♥️

Grace is sweet, smart, goofy, and bursting with puppy energy, all wrapped up in her precious, compact 30 lb body! Her DNA test shows she’s a mini Aussie mix, and the vet estimates she’s about 1.5 years old. Grace joined her foster home in mid-August after being found with a broken pelvis in a culvert under I-35 near Winstar Casino in Thackerville, Oklahoma. She has since healed beautifully and is now fully vetted,dewormed, vaccinated, spayed, microchipped, heartworm-negative, and on monthly flea, tick, and heartworm prevention.

Grace is mostly crate trained and goes in when asked, though she still occasionally has a potty accident indoors. She rarely barks but will quietly whine if she’s in her crate and needs to go out. We’re working on bell training at the back door so she can let us know when she needs a potty break.

This little girl is a hoot! She entertains herself by tossing a tennis ball in the air and catching it or chasing it down. Grace even smiles, showing her teeth, and wags her entire body when she’s happy! She loves to chew and has a nice collection of Nylabones to keep her busy. Her favorite toy is a Lambchop plush, which she proudly carries around, along with a mini blanket she cuddles with at bedtime. Squeaky toys? Not so much; she quickly “kills” the squeakers!

Grace adores children, other dogs, and even cats. Her best buddy in her foster home is a cat named PJ. She tries to herd him if he runs off, but she never hurts him, they’re excellent playmates! She would do well in a home with another dog who can handle her enthusiastic puppy energy. Grace has also picked up some great manners from her foster’s 11-year-old Aussie mix, whom she looks up to, although the older dog is a bit less tolerant of puppy antics as she’s aged.

We believe Grace would be a fantastic candidate for agility or scent work! Don’t wait too long to fill out an application for this perfect-sized bundle of love and s***k, she’s the sweetest baby you could ever meet and will get scooped up quickly.🐾♥️
